Neighborhoods™
Urban Mapping has developed a unique data set
based on a methodology that incorporates research into spatial
cognition. This has been married to geographic information systems
(GIS) to deliver aggregated neighborhood-level data. The result
is a powerful tool for performing local search and retrieving
location-based information.
Data are culled from over 1,000 primary and
secondary data sources. Neighborhood delineations are spatially-encoded
using GIS and are available in a variety of data formats. Complete
US and Canadian coverage, including approximately 300 urban areas,
is currently available and coverage for international markets
will be introduced throughout 2006.
Urbanware: Neighborhoods is available in a variety
of formats and distribution technologies to support client needs.
