Urban Mapping seeks a driven and consummate
professional to drive corporate growth within our geo-spatial
solutions group. With a unique product offering and top-tier customer
base, we are positioned to aggressively develop customer and partner
relationships across a number of industry sectors. Reporting to
the CEO, you have the opportunity to craft and execute a vision
for the company.
Responsibilities are simple yet challenging:
grow the business by identifying, approaching, negotiating and
closing key accounts. It is expected that travel will be a regular
part of this position, so comfort with 70% time on the road will
be expected. Compensation is cash, commission and equity.
Skills and Experience
- 10-15 years professional experience with increasing responsibilities,
including:
- 2-5 years online sales/marketing experience, including familiarity
with SEO, PPC, web analytics
- Demonstrated technical competency: At this point in your
career you have proven capabilities. Broad knowledge is valued
over deep expertise and we encourage applicants with varied
industry backgrounds.
- Entrepreneurial ethos: Working in a start-up environment
is not for all; those who thrive with limited information and
ambiguity are welcome.
- Relationship management: The value to long-term customer
relationships is clear, and Urban Mapping seeks an individual
who recognizes the lifetime value of relationships.
- Strong communication skills: A clear, effective and concise
communication style is valued. We place a premium on written,
verbal and graphical communication internally and in the marketplace.
- Knowledge of user-focused design techniques and strategies.
Urban Mapping employs user-focused techniques
to develop geo-spatial data products to industry and innovative
maps and wayfinding-related tools for consumers.
